System Settings#
Configure basic system functions, including time synchronization and GMSL cameras.
GMSL Settings#
Select System Settings > GMSL Settings in the left menu.
Select the camera model for each channel.
Click Save.
Wait until the system reports that the GMSL settings were saved successfully. You can then use the GMSL cameras.
Synchronization Settings (System Time Synchronization)#
Select System Settings > Synchronization Settings in the left menu.
Select an external time source: NTP, GPS, or NONE.
NTP is the default mode. The device receives network time from an NTP service. Do not use this mode if sensor synchronization is required, because NTP jitter can cause time-synchronization errors.
GPS mode uses an external GPS receiver for time synchronization. The device can act as a synchronization source to provide time and synchronization signals to sensors. This is the recommended mode.
NONE disables external time synchronization. The device can still act as a synchronization source.
Configure External Trigger Output (SYNC OUT)
Set the SYNC OUT frequency. This is separate from the GMSL trigger frequency.

Configuration File#
/opt/miivii/config/sync/sync.cfg
Set the time-synchronization mode by changing X in sync_type:X: 0: External GPS time synchronization 1: NTP network time synchronization 2: No external time synchronization
Set the SYNC OUT frequency by changing XX in sync_out_freq:XX. Only integer values are supported.
cat /opt/miivii/config/sync/sync.cfg
sync_out_freq:25
sync_type:2
/*
note:
sync_out_freq---the frequency is 25 for sync out time
sync_type---0 is for GPS calibrate time
1 is for SYS calibrate time
2 can not calibrate time
Export Logs#
System logs are stored under /var/log/. Export Logs packages the logs for download to your PC.
Select Account Management in the left menu.
Click Export System Logs.
