Functions

To prevent customers from entering the bootloader through unintended operations or other methods,

access to the bootloader should be disabled on all standard MIIVII products.

Analogy

On production smartphones, users cannot directly access the bootloader.

Unlocking uses a development version of the bootloader to obtain additional permissions and functions.

The products delivered to customers are comparable to production smartphones; therefore, users should not be able to access the bootloader menu.

Internally, we can access the bootloader menu by flashing a development version of the bootloader.
