APEX ORIN NX II Input Voltage Monitoring#

Functions#

Voltage monitoring checks voltage status at the system level, primarily to investigate the effects of input voltage fluctuations.

It also helps determine whether a system shutdown or restart was caused by an unstable power supply.

Usage#

/opt/miivii/features/power_query/bin/power_query

Last Power failed time: 2022-08-08 17:47:05 #Time of the last unexpected power loss, in the system time zone.

Last Power failed voltages:
DC_in_volt: 13.631V #Voltage at the last unexpected power loss; a software shutdown does not change this value.

System running voltages:
DC_in_volt: 22.768V #Current system voltage

Typical Application#

Unexpected Device Shutdown#

On August 9, 2022, the device was found powered off.

Run the following command to obtain the data shown below.

The output shows that the input voltage dropped to 13.631 V at 17:47:05 on August 8, 2022, compared with the normal voltage of 22.768 V.

The input power supply should therefore be checked.
