Usage#

4G module can be used only on Mater Orin.

4G module and SIM card Installation#

Remove the bottom panel:#

Installation Steps:#

1.According to the interface of the 4G module, install the 4G module on the M.2 B mount or Mini PCIe mount shown in the M figure, M.2 B mount with 1 M38 Phillips with adhesive screws, Mini PCIe mount with 1 M2.56 Phillips with adhesive screws

2.Attach the two antenna adapter cables, the IPEX connector to the 4G module, and the SMA female connector to the antenna connector of the device.

3.Put a thermal pad on the 4G module, thickness: 4mm.

4.Attach the SIM card to the SIM holder.

5.Attach the antenna to the antenna connector of the device

Notes:#

  • 4G module requires thermal pads for heat dissipation

Auto-start settings at boot#

Built-in driver does not require any additional configuration. It starts automatically and dials automatically when it is turned on.

Module configuration method#

Please note that if you are using an IoT SIM card, there will be issues with binding the SIM card to the device hardware. Please confirm with your communications provider in advance.

System image integrates the corresponding module driver. After the module is installed, the system will automatically recognize it.
